Jays need to sweep this series. They are 3.5 games out of the last WC spot. Sounds reachable, but in reality it's much more than that since they are chasing now three teams (Mariners, Royals, Tigers). Their margin for error is very, very small right now.

Game 1: Stroman v Noesi
Game 2: Buehrle v. Danks
Game 3: Hutch v. Carroll

They have the superior pitcher in Games 1 and 3. Game 2 is pretty even. Edwin is back after a successful minor league rehab stint. Lind is back. There is no excuse for them not righting the ship with this series...unless, well, they are who we thought they were.

It's over. Well, for the Jays, I guess this counts as "success"? Can't remember the last time they were 125 games into the season and still sort of in it. Baby steps. Jays in 2030.
