Jaylen Brown is the Next Great Celtic

I saw it on the internet, it must be true. (PS, Pelicans need to send three first rounders along with A Davis if they want this trade to go through)

This is next level homer stuff right here.

Sounds like the crap I used hear from your grandfather when Russell, Cousy, Heinson, Sam and KC Jones, Ramsey, Luscatoff and Sharman were playing.

That would be very impressive coming off the bench

according to us green teamers we have two possible MVP candidates off the bench, Big Willy (aka say no to alarm clocks) and Scary Terry

I think the White mamba should try to make a comeback myself

Only enough room for one Mamba at a time; right now it's the Red Mamba's turn.

better use of the thread.

If you are the Celtics and at some point facing salary issues having so many talented players- who are the guys that you keep long term out of:

1. Kyrie
2. Hayward
3. Tatum
4. Brown
5. Smart
6. Horford
7. Rozier

You definitely cannot keep them all. I would imagine that Tatum and Brown will get near-max level offers as RFA's if things keep going how they are. Horford is the teams only solidly above average big man. Brown and Tatum are both great wings. You probably cannot keep both Kyrie and Rozier.

Alot depends on the Anthony Davis opportunity. that window will be opened next year. I can imagine three max players long term. This is a better conversation in a year. Also, they will have a top 5 pick most likely. Next summer is when we see what happens with Kyrie/Horford/Top5/A Davis

They are deep and cheap in many ways with youngsters and picks ahead

tatum >>> brown

both have extremely bright futures.

and i was one of the few who knew who he was at cal, and liked the upside of the pick.

Hayward and Smart are under contract, so they're not going anywhere. Horford is getting up there, so there's nothing long term with him. Kyrie is likely gone next summer. So, you're choosing between Tatum (easy choice), Brown and Rozier. I don't see anything special about Rozier personally (he's a good backup, but I wouldn't overpay to keep him), and if he gets big offers, I wouldn't match (even if Kyrie leaves). Brown is going to get a max offer, which will be interesting.

90% agree. all three are just babies. next year or two should be interesting
