The Eagles won the SB. Villanova won the National Championship. The Sixers are playoff bound and looking like a team definitely on the rise.
How great will it be to hear the commissioner say "with the 32nd pick in the 1st round, the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles select..." in Jerry World. and BDawk or a rep going up and saying a few words.
It is a great time to be a Philadelphian!!!

It's too bad Embiid got hurt, because before that I was definitely thinking the Sixers could make some noise in the playoffs and surprise people. Now, they have still won 12 straight but I think the momentum will slow without the big guy.

They have been a streaky team all year. Hopefully they will get in one of their good streaks.

If injury isn't a factor, the Sixers could be seeing a Championship within the next 2 seasons. Not quite ready this year imo, but you never know. Next year we will have Fultz ready from the jump and we are also likely getting the 10th pick in the draft from the Lakers.

Kawhi is not a free agent, but S.A. is looking to trade him, and get get picks and/or young players, to get cap room. I heard talk that the Sixers wll try to trade Fultz and picks to try to get get Kawhi. I'd prefer that to signing LeBron.

I think Lebron is great, but I don't want him. I think we don't need him. This team is a few pieces from being a dynasty. Lebron is not one of them.

I honestly do not care if a team is built through the draft or built (bought) with free agents
If it ends in a championship who cares? The champagne tastes just as sweet
I don't why people are hung up on this

I'm not a Golden State fan but not because of the KD signing
More power to them is what I say
If other teams complain about GS - don't cry - get your team good
Look at Houston and OKC - they did what they felt they needed to do and again more power to them

As for the Sixers they have the foundation of something special in the making
Sure they were built through the draft but if they signed Simmons and Embiid as free agents I would still be enjoying the team

As for Fultz for Kawhi I'm not ready to make that deal. I think Fultz is going to be a good player for the Sixers and do not want to give up on him after a rookie season in which he was injured for basically the whole season
Lebron - while I don't think the Sixers need him (as I said they are building a good team here without Lebron) if the Sixers did sign him he wouldn't be a slouch here. He would make the Sixers better. I wouldn't have any issues with the signing
