Simple Question: Is Vince Wilfork done?

He is not the same (yes injuries I know) but the dude is only what 32 and is getting pushed around with ease!

Over reaction. The good new is.....we'll have a top 10 pick this year. However.....the idiot BB will trade it for 3 fourth round picks.

I am not so sure this is an overreaction based on the way he has played or not played I should say. BB always F's up the draft picks and it pisses me off, yet no one has the balls to call him out on it!

I'm going to say yes based on what I'm seeing so far. Either that, or he's not all the way back yet from his achilles injury. Not remotely the same player he was, he's getting moved rather easily now. I've always liked Vince, and I hope I'm wrong - but the evidence is pretty damning so far.

Bigger question should be" "who has heart left on this team?"

Has Wilfork gained some weight? I know he was huge before the injury but he just looks ridiculously huge like the old Packers DT Gilbert Brown.

Not sure if he has gained weight but he certainly has lost a step.

I have called him for 4 years now,in fact i kept getting banned on the espn boards & kept coming back as cant_draft.this is billy boys team,no more parcells draft choices & free agents,no more cheating, this is the pile of shit that billy boy has put on the field.i also think that maybe tom & vince just dont want to play for him anymore

I think I voted "too injured to tell." At this point I do think it is too early to know. I do think if like said above he put on that 40 lbs. that his progress will be slowed. The more weight put on the injury the harder it is for it to fully heal. Gronk's struggles make me think the same thing in he needs some more time. These players try to get back so quickly that I think it actually slows their progress and can actually be a detriment to the team. To me I would sit them for a couple of weeks (maybe not Gronk as he still has shown he can make plays even looking only about 70% of his former self) and then see what you got when they come back. They are more valuable to the team later in the season anyway. I know winning games now is needed but seeing especially Wilfork just get pushed around does no good for the team right now.

Honestly....I am not sure why Gronk "rushed" back... He isn't 100% healthly and you are right it appears that Wilfork isn't as well.
