of jj hardy and his injuries ? just like Nolan one can only take so many until its just time to move on . I wonder if trey could play third base ? move manny to short or atleast give jj two days off a week .

Not much the O's can do about it at this point. He does have a vesting option next year based on plate appearances. Maybe the O's rest him a bit so they won't have to pay him next year?

If Trey can play anything but first or DH that would help the team out a ton.

If the team is desperate enough, moving Davis to 3B on a temporary basis might be an option to consider...

Of course but unlike Nolan, JJ is too valuable to this team to make any sort of unnecessary move at this point. Perhaps at the break we decide to move him and switch Manny to SS.
