Huskies in the AP Top 10

The Dawgs jumped up 6 spots in the AP Poll to number 8 in the country this week. Did anyone think the Huskies would be ranked this high, this early?

No, but given the number of upsets and teams that dropped down it's not that surprising.

Problem is rankings really don't mean much until at least week 9 or 10. It's nice to sniff the top 10 for a second, but unless they go 6-0 over the first half of the season it's not going to last long.

Agreed. Those early conference games are going to be huge because I can't imagine they'll move up any more or down too much in the next two weeks unless the last two non-conference games are a little closer than they should be.
