I have a pretty negative feeling about this season. Between the big bats aging and starting pitching full of holes and question marks, I think this team may not make it to 70 wins this year. But don't let my pessimism influence your prediction.

I have them in the 76-78 win area.

Was gonna hold off to make a prediction just in case this team wised up and signed a starter with the prices dropping.

However given the Ichiro move and saying "they didnt have the resources" to sign John Jay, it confirms what the main goal for 2018 is. (HINT ITS NOT WINNING GAMES)

I still think the bullpen has a chance to be pretty good but the starting pitching crap may even that out. Im bullish on Marco but pretty bearish on Felix so I still think its medicre. Also factoring in a Paxton injury at some point.

Offense looks good on paper but not sure I like it as much as some. I like the top of the order and Haninger/Zunino but expecting the middle of the order to disappoint. Especially with Servais refusing to get creative with the lineup.

So yeah Ill go ahead and say 77 wins

I think these guys look like a .500 team or just below. This team is loaded with "hot/cold" hitters but I am not too concerned with the offense, I think there will be times when the offense will make these guys look good and bail out the pitching. The pitching on the other hand could very well be an epic disaster. Injury prone guys, untested guys, question mark guys, bad guys etc... As far as the pitching goes I am just hoping they strike gold with one of the younger guys its really the only hope. Marco has looked good so far but come on everyone lets see him get through the lineup a few times, hard to put much weight in ST performances too.

70-something. Don't know which one to pick, but if they do win in the 70's then it really doesn't matter anyway.

This is a tough one really, the thing we have to take in consideration is the pitching staff is crap and if they are out of it by the end of June a firesale might be coming on offense and make low 70's a good shot so I'm going with 73.

I voted 76-78. Pitching will be wore out at the end and hitting is streaky on this team at best.

That seems very reasonable to me... I can see a scenario where this team could win more games but that would be heavily reliant on several unknowns playing out in the Mariners favor. Unfortunately I just don't think this team has the talent to be consistent, they look like a .500 team at best but baseball can be crazy so we will see.

85-87... Our offense will carry us enough to overcome our starting pitching...

I'll go with 79-81 but 79 is my number. On the Mariner's forum there was a thread about how many games and my vote was 79. Assuming Dipstick doesn't do anything with the starters (which he won't) but we'll have a decent pen though even with the loss for TJ surgery. Offense will be ho hum with sparks once in a while. I suppose I would have raised my number if Servais wasn't messing everything up like he always does. I can't stand it when he sits there with his finger inserted and just watches pitchers fall apart before he gets off his dead rear end and takes some action- always a day late and a dollar short. Dipstick and Servass- what a combo.

I'll go 84. Enough to keep everybody watching while they fight for the last wild card spot and eventually falling short of the wild card.
