Commentators on Sports Sunday last night were discussing the possibility of Rob Gronkowski retiring. Seems that there is a huge lure out there called Hollywood. Seems Rob has been offered several opportunities to do full length 'action' movies. Considering that very few actors have to have surgery or can't work because of injuries they've received doing movies, and they get paid millions for less body damaging work, who knows what he may be thinking.

One thing that is known, is that Mark Walhberg has a sideline pass for every Patriot home game and supposedly is very close friends with BB and a number of Patriots players. Brady is close to Wallberg and is known to frequent Wahlberg's mother's restaurant Alma Nove in Hingham, MA.

No question that Gronk has enough money to just call it quits and go quietly into the night, but he has the personality that seems to always be doing something. Starring alongside Wahlberg in an action movie may seem a bit weird, but my guess is that he'd do it and probably do very well.

He'd be a good game show host. Especially if it was his own game show. "Gronk This!"

I feel like he'd be the perfect host for the show, "The Gong Show"

A little more light has been exposed as to what is really going on with Gronk's consideration of retiring.

First, it may not just be retiring from football that is what he's really talking about. It just might be that he wants to retire from playing football for the New England Patriots. Everyone knew that Belichick and the training staff of the Patriots wanted Alex Guerreo out of the team's training and rehab programs. Everyone knew that Brady and Guerreo were tight and were in business together at TB12, Inc.

Here's a new rub........Gronkowski had been injured in the 2016 season and missed the end of the season and the playoffs. He had back surgery and was working with the Patriots training and medical staff to rehab. The rehab was going horribly and Gronk wasn't recovering anywhere near what the medical people and the training staff expected. Gronk called Brady and asked him what he should do and Brady suggested, not ordered, Gronk to talk with AG. Gronk started a short program with Guerreo and it made him feel much better. He decided to work with Guerreo full time and told the Patriots staff he was done with their program. Belichick got pissed because he had no control over anything that AG had Gronk doing at TB12. Remember Gronk's new incentive laden contract? That was intended to prove that AG's program was not better than the Patriots' program. How'd that work out? Gronk recovered so well that he met all of the incentives including being named All Pro and got $10.5M. Problem was that he had to put up with a bunch of shit from the Patriots' training staff and told Tom Curran of NBCSB that playing football in 2017 was not fun.

So.....................is Gronk considering retiring if the Patriots continue to be assholes about his new training schedule and program that had him playing at an All Pro level? Or is Gronk pretty much pushing Belichick to trade him or he'll retire?

Considering that more than 60 professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB are now rehabbing or training full time with TB12 and about 80% of all professional athletes over the age of 36 are signing up with TB12 because of Brady's success, there could be a real war starting within professional sports about the archaic methods that training staffs have been trained in and are using on pro athletes.

Ask Hanley Ramirez of the Red Sox....spent the off season at TB12. He's lost 15 lbs. Bat speed is 20% quicker. Feels like he's 25 years old and swears he hasn't felt this strong or energenic for the past 10 years. He'll be someone to watch this year to see if AG's program works for baseball. If Hanley has a great year, TB12 will be the off-season place for baseball players.

Very interesting.
If true, Belichick should try to have the Patriots b the first team to adopt these practices rather than be the most oppositional.

Andy Hart was on Early Edition a few minutes ago and he thinks Gronks is positioning for a contract redo.

Interesting point was made........Belichick may have to pass all trades in front of Johnathan Kraft before pulling the trigger. They didn't say it was a fact, but things are extremely quiet on coaches row.........

Is Gronk trying to force BB to cut him or trade him?? His father has a relationship with a WWE wrestker Crawley.

Last year Gronk violated his NFL contract by participating in Wrestlemania. He asked for forgivness and got it from Robert Kraft but BB was pissed. Early Edition is just going gaga over this. They think that Gronk may just push the envelope again and Crawley said that there will be a huge surprise at his next "fight". Wrestling is 99% staged and it's entertainment, but injuries do happen and sometimes they're pretty severe. The last thing anyone would want to see is Gronk have an accident because of a missed move or incorrect move at the wrong time.

Are the inmates trying to take over the asylum??

The expectation is that #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski will return for 2018 after pondering his future, I’m told. He may never make a grand announcement, but the belief is entertainment opportunities (acting WWE) will wait.
