DJ should focus on getting better, not running his mouth relentlessly. IMO, he was average at best last season and his tackling in critical situations was poor. I really hope he improves this season. His actions and words on the practice field are not what I want the youth on this team to see.

The defense played with an energy last year I hadn't seen in a while. Gang tackling and passion. I think part of that was on him considering he was named Captain his first year in the locker room. He has his warts but was not part of the problem last year imo. Pryor was.

I like that he holds every one accountable and sets the bar very high. He just needs to know when to stop to avoid any stupid penalties. I'm ok with his demeanor and actions if he can keep them under control.
