I disagree 100%. The first year points to the example. Had Baylor or TCU’s name been Texas or Oklahoma Ohio State would have been out.

These bias’s absolutely happen. If all teams are undefeated the brand names get the benefit of the doubt.

I'm going with this.
and I like it.

Washington got in two years ago on the backs of a weak schedule and a loss to the top team they had played.

Sorry, but I entirely and completely disagree.

BCF Toys - 2014 SOS Ratings

#61 TCU
#65 Baylor

The team claimed got in for name only:

#6 Ohio St.

Other playoff teams:

#2 Alabama
#11 Oregon
#18 Florida St

There is an obvious difference in the teams that were selected.

GMFB with your bullshit ranking you use. TCU was in the top 30 SoS. An more than easily would have been in if their name was Texas or Oklahoma. But continue to ignore that.

They won their conference championship in the P5 with one loss. The P5 conference champ that was left out had 2 losses. It’s not like they beat out someone else with equal records.

There were a lot of people crying over UW getting in. Trust me, we heard all of it.

You can't show me an example of someone being left out over another team based on name.

Answer seriously

TCU was number 3 in the nation going into the last week of the regular season and then beat their opponent 55-0. They slide down 3 spots after that and miss the playoffs. Does that happen if it’s Oklahoma or Texas?

An UW more than deserved to be in.

It doesn't happen to TCU either....if that was all that happened.

It's not all that happened.

So you think 1 loss Oklahoma gets bounced over one loss Ohio State because of the conference champ win they had over Wisconsin?

Um, no. You are entitled to your belief, but it is not rooted in fact.

Why do you think the Big12 now has a CCG? Think real hard on that...

So you think 1 loss Oklahoma gets bounced over one loss Ohio State because of the conference champ win they had over Wisconsin?

First, teams do not drop or bounce in the playoff rankings. They are made fresh each week, not moved around individually based on results.

That year on TCU's schedule, yes.

TCU ended the year on Iowa St, that was their conference fucking up and that's not even mentioning the whole "1 true champion" fiasco.

Meanwhile Ohio St tuned up Wisconsin like 55-0 in their conference championship game. Meaning, Wisconsin was a decent team(perk of conference championship games) and Ohio St blew them out.

And of course, Ohio St had the better overall schedule.

However, if it had been Oklahoma, then Oklahoma finished the season off with Ok St, a rival game against a top25 opponent. They also play a tougher OOC opponent in Tennessee, where as TCU played NOBODY OOC that year.

So to even pretend it's the same thing is dishonest from the start. As I said on the post you bullshit, if it was Oklahoma or Texas they would have had a better SoS.

So my statement isn’t a fact but somehow yours is? GMFB with that shit.

An the B12 has a title game because of money. Ohh and it’s obviously important when making the playoffs. Which you have been arguing against all thread LOL.

Yes, 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000%

Big10 had a CCG, and Big12 didn't. That's why they do now.

Your entire premise that it was rigged for a blue blood name is based off what you THINK might have happened if it was a different name. That's not based on fact.

So basically you are saying had it been Oklahoma, Ohio State would have never made the playoffs. Certainly you can see how this is construed as the blue bloods get the benefit of the doubt.

Where have I ever made any type of statement, of any kind about a CCG not having impact on the playoffs? I CLEARLY said it's another quality game against a quality opponent. It has merit.

There was a lot of chatter over the Big12 being left out. Do you need us to go find the articles about adding a CCG because of that? I mean I have no problems embarrassing you more.

No my entire premise is what did happen. That is exactly fact. Why are you not smart enough to understand this? TCU got bounced for Ohio State. You are saying it would have happened to anyone in the B12. It’s you that has the opinion.

Do you always struggle with reading like this? :L

Where did I make some statement of fact opposed to yours? YOU are the one making a blanket claim that it is factual the first CFP had a team in entirely, and ONLY because of name. YOU are the one that has to back that up with facts. You have not done so. At all. In any way. And deep down you know it. That's why you keep going with the same stupid bullshit.
