Reed is at -14 which is great after 3 rounds at Augusta.

I was at the 2013 and 2015 Masters Tournament. I enjoyed every minute of it.

'05 and '08...unfortunately had to turn down a badge offer LY.

For a golfer...it's a bucket list experience.

Jesus Reed! How do you three putt there when you've just got the read from your opponent? That's the 5th 5 footer for par I've seen him miss in the last two days. All uphill putts too. Cannot do that.

The save on 17 was incredible.

Reed drew the absolute best pairing he could've gotten...both guys will have their juices flowing early in this one...chilly start again, but by the time these boys tee off, should be warm enough for 2 layer day.

Reed always does things the hard way though. I could not believe that he could not manage even one birdie on the ridiculously easy 13th and 15th. But he birdies the tough ones like 12 and 14 instead. And, as you said, his play on 17 was clutch. I admire the guy. he talks big but he backs it up.

Most of the holes at Augusta National are 2nd shot holes...13 & 15 are all about the tee ball....if you have to lay up 4 is not a given and long on 15 is not the easiest up and down...pitching back towards the creek. AN has apparently already purchased land from next door and now have the ability to lengthen 15...no word on if they will.

JMHO, but when you're Reed, making the turn with your 3 shot lead intact, you know what can happen on the back 9 at Augusta, but you don't want to give any shots back going in the water either....once he got to -15, I kinda felt that number would hold up. Kind of a blessing his tee ball took going for it in two out of play on 15...a little wimpy on the birdie putt as it's barely got there, but that putt wasn't moving right towards the water like many players thought.

I thought Rory fading was surprising...I think the bogey on 11 sucked any thought of him winning...had to be thinking -3 at the very least on 13 & 15 and he went thru there in -1 and was an afterthought after that.

Congrats to Patrick Reed...2018 Masters Champion
