Tell that to Morris he was punishing those guys. Zee needed to be humbled a little. He was making some outrageous statements. He needed to understand this is a mans league. He will grow from this.

Morris had a couple of nice runs... but 35 yards total in a change-of-pace role. Not sure how many conclusions can be drawn from that.

I'll stand by being very pleased with the Giant defense, especially after the debacle that was last season. Big spending in FA seems to fail more often then it succeeds, but I think the Giants brought in some good players without sacrificing a "team" identity.

Morris didn't get many carries. We don't know what Morris would have done if he got 20 carries like EE. Giants DLine was hard to run against, period and having all those All Pro caliber players played a part.

Bottom line, they lost an NFCE game they could have and should have won. It is on the coaches and players to be better and we shall see if they can

Let's not overreact to Week 1. I remember around this time last year we were looking like the best NFC East team before the Romo injury.

No Morris was very decisive when he ran. Zeke danced too much. Everyone saw who was running better with the same line. This line needs a down hill runner.

Yes he did run more decisively. I'm just saying the sample was small. He definitely deserved more touches, but the Giants DLine is legit and they seemed to stack the box more on EE than they did Morris.

They are legit and I hope Elliott shows more patience. We need him.

Elliott was awful. He ain't no emmit

Emmitt had 2 yards in his first game.. 11 in his 2nd. A 1.6 yards per carry. And Walter Payton was even worse to start his career (and there's a guy who danced to much as well to start out). 2 of his first 4 games were 8 and 10 carry games for 0 yards.

Don't get too upset yet. I personally think it was a really risky potentially low impact pick, but it's just week 1... vs. what could be a very good D line.

I hate to say it, but I rarely expect the Cowboys to win on Sundays with Garrett as coach. I don't get too upset anymore. That is sad.
