Bad looking 4 minute PP there. That may end up costing them a point and definitely gave the Kings a point.

Heatley never wins a puck battle. That's sad. OT here we go

Sharks were fortunate to get a point. I didn't think they had many good scoring chances throughout the night. Still a nice way to head into the break going 4-0-1

Not a bad game, but way too many mistakes. That lack of focus on the 4 minute PP was gawd awful. That ended up being the game. Neither of these two teams look all that impressive though. Man, I thought these two teams would be battling for the division and they both look like the worst two teams in the Pacific, lol.

I think that Wallin's season could be summed up in the sequence where he has he puck on his stick, not only fails to clear but passes it directly to a Kings dman then falls down and gives up the game tying goal in the third.

I hate that guy.

DW, let's go to work ... and bring us a first line D-man. Trade PM and Heater if you can :)

Poor Murray's had a rough game with getting injured.

There's the Jumbo that infuriates me.....why didn't he rocket that puck on the net there?

Rocket and Joe Thornton go together about as well as Dany Heatley and Hard work or Heart, two oppossing ideas

Just got back from the game... great seats, about 8 rows behind the net the Sharks scored the 2 in the 2nd period.

Besides the first, which was sleepy on both sides, I thought the team played real well in the 2nd. You could tell about midway through the 2nd the Sharks ratcheted up the intensity, and the kings were struggling to match it. Clowe and Pavs were all over the ice tonight, and Murray and Boyle both looked solid. Niemi was there when you need him again, he is quietly having a very good 2nd half.

The downsides: Patty and Heatley were subpar. Marleau was noticeable a few times, but didn't create much. Heatley was invisible. The 6 minutes of powerplay were erratic, it felt like the sharks were trying too hard, they never really got settled and created good chances, but some credit goes to the Kings PK there. The turnover (Im reading here it was Wallin) was completely unacceptable. The Sharks did a good job shutting the Kings down for all but those 2 shifts, and that missed clear was the center point in the Kings pressure that led to the 3rd goal. Kings had the play in OT, but the Sharks did get a chance or two. In the SO, I love Clowe but Quick knew exactly where he was going.

The atmosphere was great, it felt like a playoff game in the 3rd and OT. Kings fans can get loud when they want to. Lots of Sharks fans there as well.

Yeah, Wilson needs to make up for his horrible contract to Wallin. Just a pathetic and clueless move by a GM who should be held over the fire.

The only similarity between Heatley and Heart is that both begin with H. He will be one of the main causes of this team not making the playoffs, being just a one-dimensional player who couldn’t backcheck to save his life. This team should have 30-31 wins in the 50 games played up to this point instead of the mediocre 25-19-6 record. 16 wins in the final 32 games won’t cut it, which is what can be expected with guys like Heatley on the team.

Heatley is under-performing, and certainly does not look like a star... but you cannot put this whole team on him. Bottom line is this team has a lot of young, no-name, mediocre players- Demers, Ferrreio, Eager, McGinn, etc. These guys arent bad, but they arent guys I see taking shifts over and winning games for their team (yet at least, most are still young)

Heatley is not the whole problem, but he is one of the main reasons why this team has been mediocre in the first 50 games. The star players need to be the best players, and he's one who hasn't shown that.

Ehh, we got 1 point, but still a disappointing way to head into the break. The All-Star game seems kinda gimmicky, so no real hockey for almost a week. Enjoy the rest, lads (sans Boyle & Juicy).

Goddamn sick and tired of guys like Heatley on the Sharks who can't be counted on to show up from one shift to the next. Players who really don't want to be here and are not fully committed should be sent packing. This same damn problem has plagued the team over the last few seasons.

The reason it's a big deal though is Thornton actually has a really nice shot. If he worked hard every game (yeah yeah laugh, I know I am) and looked to shoot first instead of pass, Thornton would be a 40 goal guy.

I've been saying that for years, it would also open up more passing lanes. He just doesnt know how to change his game or he doesnt want to

I can agree with that.
