Y'all ever get tired of watching paint dry, don't forget those minor league options.

I plan to check out these guys when I am in the Hamilton area in June.

TICKETS ARE 5 BUCKS!

The collegiate wood-bat leagues are growing. These guys are appropriately the HAMILTON JOES.

I think the wood bat leagues are a no brainer for scouts. Apples to apples.

I imagine the play is pretty sloppy but it's a great way for college-age guys to get some abbs and reps. I think the team up this way in Whiting also plays some semi-pro teams. There's one in their group called the "Military All-Stars," so there is a lot that connects to the nostalgia of baseball.

Difference is, the ballparks are nicer than they were in the late 40s when my dad played semipro ball. These seasons are pretty short. I plan to check it out a little more than in the past. I also have my RailCats coming up in about 3 weeks. Baseball gets good after that.
