I will be interested to see one where the ride height and suspension isn't 'shopped. It obviously is in these two pictures. The stance of this will make a huge difference in how it looks when it actually comes to market.

i imagine it will sit at the same height as the ATS does today

Yeah, which will change it dramatically. You're not going to see zero fender gap (almost tucking) and a flush wheel stance from a production car. Especially from Buick.

It will look great if you buy some coilovers and spacers for it though, as they've shown.

It's another GENERIC Motors car. You'll see the same car in a Pontiac, Olds, and Chevy as well. How many Cadillac people liked seeing the Caddy badges on a Chevy Citation and calling it a Cadillac? :L :laugh3:

I really doubt you'll see a Pontiac

Plus....an mkz is just a fusion, acuras are just rebadged Hondas, Lexus are just toyotas, and so on

Gm is hardly unique in this

Exactly...most car manufacturers build a handful of platforms and they modify it for various models.

But to say they're the same car is not to have driven them...I have in Infiniti G37 and a Nissan Altima...both built on the same platform, (so is the Maxima) but from the suspension up the cars are nothing alike in terms power, handling, and performance.

The new ATS is a nice handling, and riding car...not like any Caddy I've driven. The Buick pictured is great looking car and they have the performance history in Europe, but can't you sway buyers in the US unless you go beyond the sheetmetal...GM...go all the way, or don't go...give the car the goods to compete with Germany & Japan, and see where the dust settles.

Ass end is ugly IMO and I actually like the look of the current LaCrosse.

It's aggressive, the wind scope atop the rear shield can go, but generally speaking the Buick designers are doing the best work @ GM.

Speaking of buying or not buying American.

I would most likely buy a GMC or Ford pickup RWD...on the car front...the early look of the ATS coupe I like a lot, but it's up against some stiff competition...probably not a car I would buy.

Yeah if I were to ever buy American Buick would be a real consideration. I test drove the LaCrosse that damn car really rides great.

My neighbor has a LaCrosse...never driven it, but it does ride nice...with all the bells and whistles it compares pretty well to the Lexus ES.

It's just a tad out of my price range.

All of these new ones are out of my price range these days...buying a new car is a tall commitment now even with these low rates.

Like the LaCrosse, but new Regal GS is more my style...something a little more sporty, but not a sports car. My issue with them is GM just gives you part of the driving machine experience.
