Alright gentlemen, this is the big show. The fantasy hockey league that we've all been waiting months (if not years) for. I have to say that I think I've done a pretty fucking fabulous job of setting the league up, but be sure to tell me what you think when you get there. I will take all of the feedback I can get.

Here's the task at hand:

20 Teams
4 Divisions (Snider, Clarke, Parent & Hextall)
28 player rosters (12F, 6D, 2G, 8B with 3IR)
Head to head each category format
16 skater categories
6 goalie categories

Everything is as similar to the real Nhl as I could make it, including four rounds of playoffs. Half of us make it to the dance. The top 6 of those 10 teams get a 1st round bye and we go from there.

This is an ESPN league and the live draft is currently set for Sunday, October 9th at 7 pm, but nothing is set in stone yet. Draft order gets determined randomly one hour prior.

I love it.. I've been waiting for this to happen. Just let me know when we draft? I'll be on the road for training the month of October. I can draft any time prior to OCTober 3rd?

Hopefully some of the regulars come back in the next couple weeks and some new faces join in too. Obviously I can't have four full divisions without at least 16 teams, preferably 20.

It's not so easy. There were technically only 7 of us in the league last season. We need Cobie, Chy, FFF and whoever Wayne Newton was in order to have all 7 of them return.

It's cool dude!!!! Completely understandable, I have a shit ton myself, but it lets me walk away for a little bit....LOL

As for the good guys, I gotta say, y'all here are the Flyers board are as cool as the other side of the pillow. Y'all have been very welcoming. I know most Philly fans where I live try to get a little obnoxious with me from time to time, they see the Flyers and the Steelers thing and are like WTF....
And they all ask the same thing, why aren't you a pens fan, and I answer the same everytime.....you can't spell C.U.N.T without Crosby.

Yes, but that will probably have to be pushed back. I really hate to have to open this to the main board when we should have the people here.

Alright. Invite sent. I am trying to draft on the 2nd still, but if I can't get at least 12 teams by then, I will probably push the draft back.

I want to bring this up in case some of you don't notice it. There are 22 scoring categories in this league, which includes PIM's, plus/minus, atoi, hits, blocked shots and defenseman points. Some of these are not normal categories, but I thought it would be fun to add them.

Essentially, some low pairing defenders and third or fourth line grinders may still have a lot of value. I also figured this may be necessary with such huge rosters and a high amount of teams.
