And another assumption that i didn't include would be Leody Taveras being brought up to cover CF

Why would you assume this? He's hitting .249 at Hickory, which is A ball. So he's going to jump from A to AA to AAA to the majors in basically one season.

That's some assumption you've got there.

Considering today's game is airing against the Cow-paddy game, this site may truly be a ghost town this afternoon.

It's your opinion and nothing else.
so does Hamels contract not end after next season? Isn't Adrian going to be 39+ at the end of next season and is he not suddenly experiencing multiple injuries? And his contract also ends after 2018. If not in 2019 when do we see Guzman and Taveras? It is logical to expect to see them on the major league by at least 2019

so he is considered a 5 tool player could easily move thru AA & AAA next season

Well, he's playing at low A ball, hitting .249, with 8 HR's in 522 AB! And this is his 2nd year in professional baseball b/c he's only 19 and won't be 20 until the end of next season.

He obviously needs an awful lot of work on 2 of those tools, and that's not debatable IMO.

That was a really tough error on their 3rd baseman. But glad to see EA hustle, after DDJ got his walk, and then Beltre gets a double. Good way to start anyway.

Chirinos made a nice throw there to get Trout; which is not easy task.

And Gonzalez has walked the 1st 2 guys he's faced, after getting staked to a 2 run lead. :L

You may see Guzman in 2018. Taveras probably 2 years away.

I know no one is here, or at least paying attention, but, DeShields arm appears to be considerably better than it was 2 years ago. He's made 2 solid throws this inning......Hey, he ain't Gomez, got it.....But 2 years ago he couldn't make a decent throw from left, much less center.

Someone said he had been working hard building up his strength. That was a few days ago. Could be the answer. Also, read last night the FO was not giving up on him in CF 2018.
