Theoretically, you could have as many as 50. You have to get down to 40 by the draft. If you release everyone, you will have 40 draft picks.

Some of the other dynasties on here we do slow drafts and have all kinds of trades during the draft. I have yet to see one in this league.

Yes it can be done. I would just have to freeze the draft and swap picks around. Has never happened as OBX said. Most here don’t like the slow draft, I have one league and some guys live overseas and we take 12 hour picks. Never takes that long( avg. pick is around 2-3hrs) but see a lot of trades.
