Colts signed RB Tion Green.
The Colts are a back short as Marlon Mack battles a hamstring injury. A 2017 UDFA out of Cincinnati, Green handled 42 rookie carries for the Lions but didn't do anything notable with them. The Colts' practice squad wouldn't be a bad outcome.

The Seattle Times' Bob Condotta reports Rashaad Penny suffered a hand injury, which includes a broken finger, in Monday's practice.
Coach Pete Carroll said Penny will be sidelined for "some time," and he will address the situation further on Wednesday. It puts Penny's role for Week 1 in real question. He needed the work this preseason to carve out a role, especially with Chris Carson lapping him and running as the clear No. 1 running back this summer. Penny isn't worth the fourth-round ADP at this point.

One week 1, McNichols ran a distant 5th to McKinnon, Brieda, Mostert, and Williams..and what he did do wasn't very good. Now with Brieda and McKinnon being held out, he suddenly leapfrogs Williams and Mostert to run with the ones? Wtf?

visited today, said he wants a prove-it deal from CLE (as if he was going to get anything outside of a prove-it deal from anyone, LOL!)

spotted autographing a browns helmet for a fan


interesting fit, even though not sure that Tyrod is the QB you want on a prove-it deal, and I damn well know that Cleveland isn't the team you want on a prove-it deal.

Continuing the Browns saga; I am actually kind of envying Browns fans this year just for the cool drama.

Browns still expecting Josh Gordon to return

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns still expect Josh Gordon to return for the 2018 season, "possibly" by Week 1.

The report comes amidst renewed Twitter innuendo about Gordon's status. Free agent Dez Bryant also visited the Browns on Thursday. Just 24 days away from the Browns' opener, a "believe it when you see it" attitude is probably the best course of action in fantasy leagues.

Guice out for the year, Perine bunged up, Byron Marshall out for at least 2 weeks, possibly rest of preseason, Chris Thompson not going to be used much if at all..the Skins will have to add someone, if for nothing else, a camp body. Given the lack of bonafied talent on the roster, anyone they sign could potentially earn a role. Look for visits to DC to start cropping up soon (Darkwa would fit to a tee..cheap, yet good enough to actually contribute). Keep an eye on spark plug Martez Carter..raw undersized playmaker. Might not be anything..might come out of nowhere and grab a big role.

Yep that's why we have to get our own site going again. Might be time to seriously think about the "my wife hates sunday" gig again. Maybe in the off season.
