mckinnon to get MRI on knee

Even though it sucks if it's bad news, guess it's better to know now. … I know a lot of people were really high on him this year - hopefully, it's nothing serious.

MRI on McKinnon is in, and the word is 'muscle strain'; but who knows?

And actually, those were two words. ;)

Barkley left practice with a sore leg - go ahead and avoid him if you are in any leagues with me, don't want you to waste that pick

Not serious.
Just the usual flare ups.
Then he misses a practice but suits up on game day. Lasts 3 quarters.
Sees the team doctor.
Then a specialist.
Everything seems fine.
Then is a scratch the next week as a "precaution."
Then you bench him the next week cause your sick of this nonsense - and then he has the game of his life.
You start him the next week and he only plays a quarter.
Yep. Not serious.
Been there.

Well, I don't think anyone has ever accused Joe of being a 'glass half-full' kind of guy. …

Just trying to get everyone in mid-season fantasy football shape.
Because all of our picks work out the way we want them.
And no player ever makes us want to pull our hair out.

some more hype building up around Freeman, if he keeps rocking it in preseason, he'll have changed my mind and brought me aboard

Royce Freeman - RB - Broncos
ESPN's Jeff Legwold believes Royce Freeman will be the Broncos' "primary back before too long."

"Now, that might not mean 250 carries," Legwold cautions, "but he's going to get work and already blocks well enough to play on third down and in some of the open formations. And he'll get red zone chances, too." Freeman certainly caught the eye of fantasy players with his 38 yards and a touchdown in the preseason opener. Already going in the fourth round, it is possible Freeman is being drafted near his ceiling with Devontae Booker likely to steal touches, but that could change if the rookie has some more strong outings this preseason.

Whispers are getting louder everyday that if Freeman AND Lindsey, and to a lesser extent DeAngelo Henderson, continue to impress, Booker might be traded/cut. If Freeman can handle "lead back" duty, and Lindsey/Henderson prove able to handle change of pace/situational passing duties, Booker doesn't need to have a role. There's also Janovich and David Williams who could handle some of the extras.

its one of the main topics of conversation on the radio lately..that and the backup QB, and the depleted secondary (everyone seems to want DRC to come back and be the top corner, lol)
Oh jesus Drc . Booker has been given a fair shot and he’s stunk
