That should be up to the owner to make changes inside the Novacare center, not Chipper.

Not sure what this "Novacare center" crap is, but if she was his secretary, as the OP said, then he should be able to terminate her.

Working for someone for a long time shouldn't keep a job safe.

Maybe she started sucking at her job as time went on. Got too comfortable. That's a lot more likely than believing getting fired for no reason at all.
