If he couldn't beat the Warriors with Westbrook and Adams I doubt he can beat them with any other team. LeBron maybe but even then I dunno.

I don't pretend to know what KD will do.

But, if you honestly believe Westbrook and Adams provide KD a better chance to beat GS than LeBron does, then I just don't know what to tell you.

Besides, his leaving wasn't just about winning. It was about years of frustration playing beside Russ.

Westbrook is one of the most talented players in the NBA, yet one of the worst fits for KD's game. Him and Adams would make a ton of sense, but Westbrook makes it much more difficult. What KD should do is try to take Klay with him somewhere. Those guys are two perfect fits together.

To be fair, Klay fits perfectly with everybody. He is the ideal complementary player.

Everyone seems to love him too.

KD and Curry are the headliners, but Klay and Dray are what make this team so special. Take away either of them and I think the run ends. Take away KD? They might still be able to get another ship.

Klay would look real good in Celtics Green. It won't happen though.

Why?

Him leaving the Warriors immediately weakens them severely while strengthening whoever he signs with.

The Lakers are defintely a team he would put over the top if he went there. The West is is still really good, but a lot less scary with KD off the Warriors.

Signing in the East with a second tier team would be the bad move.

What gets neglected in the East/West FA convos is that getting to the Finals is great and all, but you need to be good enough to actually win when you get there.

I can't see him leaving GSW to join someone else super team. He already did that once. If he leaves then he's going to a new team to create his own super team. He cares too much about what the media and fans think of him.

I think speculating about what KD might do next summer is pretty silly. I don't think it is a given he stays, but I would bet he goes 1 more year after this.

Because if LeBron is chasing MJ, KD is chasing LeBron. And in KD's mind he may think 4 titles in 4 years with GS trumps what LeBron did in Miami.

Watching the Warriros core get beat by someone on the floor would be so much more enjoyable then watching the core break up through FA.

Having said that, I'll take their demise anyway I can get it.

Yeah because he’s never done anything like that before.

Terrific job in taking my quote completely out of context.

It was in response to @bksballer89 saying he would be stupid to sign with another team in the West.

Yeah, I see that. Want to hear something real crazy? There are actually rumors that he is coming back to OKC. I don’t think so.

This guy gets it.

James and KD would be amazing. Even if James starts to decline....he'd still be a great #2 option.

1-He's matured into a better player than he was in OKC.

2-James is a better player than RW.

Durant shouldn’t feel obligated to go to the Lakers, Lebron already has one title because of him anyway.
