Lakers have picks #2, #27 & #28

Do they keep all their picks/players, or does a trade happen?

And if they do keep the picks, who do they take?

Should be a very interesting day.

Good question. If they do, I want Ball, Swanagen, Bell, or Rabb.

I'll agree with Ball. The others would be fine, but so would Terrance Ferguson, DJ Wilson, Semi Ojeleye, Harry Giles, Tyler Lydon, etc. All depends on who slides...

Good list except Wilson. I am not sold on him. They may be drafting Randle's replacement.

I think the Lakers will select De'Angelo Fox with the number two and then trade one or both of the latter round one choices and Clarkson for PG.

Ball was the obvious pick after the DLo trade

Liked the Kuzma and Hart picks for depth.

Would've liked a backup PG for Ball since Clarkson has been playing SG. Someone like Goss would've been a great pick instead of another C when the have Black and Zubac even if Lopez leaves next year.

Overall, solid draft

Motherfucking shit. Swanigan went one spot ahead of our (potential) draft pick.

Hard to judge the overall draft though considering we don't really know who will be sticking around with this George situation still lingering. Lonzo will be obviously, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if none of the other picks are on the roster at the start of the year.

I would like to see us keep Josh Hart though. Kid is just an all around grinder. He's just a winning basketball type of player. In some sort of fitting karma, he'd be a perfect replacement if the team ships out Jordan Clarkson. I've got no opinion on Kuzma one way or the other. Nothing stands out as a positive or glares as a weakness. I could see him being a contributor on a team and I can see him forgotten about 4 years from now. And Bryant, I kinda think he's probably too slow to be effective. But he's a 2nd round pick. If they keep him, just put him on one of the new 2-way G-League contracts and let him bounce back and forth for a year or two

I like the picks overall. Ball was a lock and "spoken into existence" lol. I'll admit I didn't follow or read up on Kuzma until the Lakers picked him, but he seems like a potential 3&D forward with some more development (fine-tuning the shooting stroke and growing defensively). Loved the Hart pick. As soon as they traded down, I figured Bryant might be the target. Could be interesting with some work (gotta root for the hometown kid!), but he's going to be pick/rolled to death if he sticks.

Was hoping for Semi Ojeleye in the mix, and he did slip into the 2nd round, but of course ended up a damn Celtic, arghh.
