McGregor tweeted that he is back on the UFC 200 card. My guess is that he has agreed to attend the next press conference in NY on 4/27. Otherwise McGregor is playing games like he did with his retirement comment.

Why would Diaz and McGregor fight again? Is there no one in McGregor's weight class to defend his belt against?

Dana White denies Conor McGregor's claim he's back on UFC 200 card

White still says no but he'll cave eventually, I'd bet on it happening.
I think so, too. Especially after Nate said he wouldn't fight anyone but Conor. Little show of solidarity will help the case. Dana has to make it look like he's a big, tough boss that means business for a little while. It would be a pretty big monetary loss to all if the fight doesn't go on as planned, I also wonder if it would be a momentum killer for the UFC in general.

It's a revenge fight for McGregor. He wants to avenge his first loss in the UFC. His pride is hurt now & his marketing plan is all about being that much better than every other fighter. That's how he hypes fights & intimidates opponents. Diaz knocked him down a notch.

The UFC wanted McGregor to fight a FW instead to defend his title but that's not what McGregor wants.

Looks like McGregor will have to wait for his rematch. Cormier vs. Jones II is a fight that I'm also interested in seeing. Demetrious Johnson is another fighter that I'd be interested in seeing on the card.

Great fighter, but probably has the least draw of any current belt holder at this point. With Dodson making the jump to Bantam, flyweight as a whole is fairly uninteresting. Welterweight is kinda underwhelming as well.

D Johnson is a better pound for pound fighter than even J Jones in my opinion. That said, he'd need a challenging big name & probably larger opponent like a bantam weight to make it more interesting. He usually just dominates in his division. His skills are undeniable though. J Jones has a quality opponent in place with the Cormier rematch. My guess is that fight will headline the event. RE Welterweight: I'd be very interested in watching Stephen Thompson but he's booked to fight in June.

Oh, I don't disagree on his talent. That weight is just so limiting. The talent gap between him and everyone else in that division makes it uninteresting, especially with Dodson going back to Featherweight, which is where he really belongs. That talent gap is compounded by the lack of power at 125.

Anderson Silva was unbeatable until he got caught. Jose Aldo was unbeatable until he got caught. No one has beaten Jon Jones, but there are definitely some guys that could catch him in a fight.

Xulu Bak,

On a different note: The Buckeyes have been recruiting really well. The NFL draft and championship in 2014 are proof of that. The Dolphins might pick a Buckeye early in the draft.

I saw a dealio on SportsCenter the other day that said Connor's PPVs have been selling a shitload more than anyone else recently.

I'd love to watch Mighty Mouse beat the shit out of Randall Rousey, or whatever that dude's name is.

I think you mean Ronda Rousey. Holly Holm dominated her when they fought.
