Gotta say I like the move. He's young super fast and experienced something our lineup lacks Instantly goes into our top 6. Yeah losing the second hurts but who knows if it would've panned out

Love the move. Not sure why but I see him and Henrique having chemistry. Jersey Boy too. I believe it's the Jagr and Zidlicky picks.

Yeah I'm really shocked that the ducks would trade him wonder why for a 2nd and 3rd

He didn't really fit in well with the Ducks. was a 4th liner towards the end of the season.

He's poor defensively and not suited for a bottom-6 role and wasn't good enough to get in a top role with Anaheim. He's extremely talented so hopefully he can get his game together here. There is a reason he didn't bring back a first and was brought in with our later 2nd rounder.

I just want to add that I'm extremely happy to be bringing in Palmieri. I said a bunch of negatives but Anaheim's forward depth is the exact opposite of what ours is.

Palmieri is really fast and we have huge holes at RW where he can probably slot in as a top liner w/ PP time on the team.

Fills an immediate need since we don't have any real RW on the roster yet. Boucher is the only one you want in the top 9.

That's the Florida second we got for a 42 year old Jagr, so that's not bad. Now we'll get 36 tomorrow, which will hopefully get us another talented forward prospect. Not a bad day. 24 y/o FAST player. Zacha and whoever we draft tomorrow will obviously need to develop, but it's a good start.

this is the type of move/trade that gets me excited. makes me want to watch devils hockey. not havlat ryder on the cheap and hope they can turn it around. i know he isn't the greatest but its definitely a little bit of fresh air

I like the kid. he was hurt part of last year but even was on a 20 goal pace and as has been mentioned by everyone...he's fast!
