I'm expecting it settles. Only like ten percent of the fantasy public is engaged right now. These people are "there's no offseason" type people and extra high on offseason moves. We're in the post-FA bubble still. Watch a Gordon preseason highlight take wind out of the sails. Or a "Tyrod and Jarvis not on same page" report in camp.
True.
But a young Landry could still be more of a draw than an old Thomas.

I will add that I am intrigued by the Browns new OC Todd Haley. I have tons of respect for him. Sure, maybe Cleveland still loses, but fantasy value isn't necessarily based on win/loss records. The jury is still out as to how targets and touches will be apportioned.

And no one will know that until after the season starts. But we already know Demaryius will have a huge role. That'll matter on selection day.

Not really into Todd Haley myself. Nice pieces there to play with though.

Up thread I said losing would mean more production for Jarvis.

Demaryius is only 30. That's too young to jump ship just on age.

When in doubt, pick the better player. That's going to still be Thomas. I have a very hard time trusting a guy with a YPC skirting 10 yards, if that.

Landry's an exciting wide receiver to have on your team because of his youth and 400, count'em, 400 receptions, more than any receiver in their first four years in the NFL.

Thomas known his way around the NFL since 2010, as he played alongside with Manning and having to deal with a carousel of bad quarterbacks afterwards.

But between the two, I have to go with Demaryius Thomas. He went through pain with inconsistent quarterbacks, but he still manages to continue to pull off consecutive 1,000 yard seasons. Keenum will be a big help for him and even Sanders on the team.

For Landry, him being in Cleveland will be a huge test if he can still get a lot of reps from Taylor, and maybe Mayfield if Taylor bombs at Cleveland.

Landry is all about Landry. You can have him.

DT knows and understands the "TEAM" concept and more willing to be part of a team.

End of story.......
This means absolutely nothing in terms of Fantasy Football.

Tyrod has supported how many top 25 WRs in his NFL career?
And how many WRs has Tyrod targeted over 100x in 1 season?

Conversely......DT still managed to be a top 25 WR with <insert shit QB's name here> throwing him the ball?

and we are even still debating this???

Still taking Landry here for the same reasons as AJ younger, outscored Demaryius the last couple years, and i like Tyrod a lot better than Keenum. The Browns gave Landry a monster of a contract he'll be getting his targets.

regardless of the $$ thrown at them to switch teams, free agent WRs seldom make as big of a splash on the field as they do in their bank accounts.

Golden Tate is probably a good projection/comparison for Landry, and I'd imagine Landry would be extremely lucky to pull down 90+ rec from Tyrod in one season.

and maybe Mayfield if Taylor bombs at Cleveland.
Taylor got the Bills to their only playoff appearance in a gazillion years and he was run out of Buffalo. If Taylor can do that for the Bills, I don't think he'll bomb in Cleveland. Buffalo is the New Cleveland.

I’d take DT, he’s going to get his targets. Not sure that’s the case with Landry, and if anyone needed a huge batch of targets it’s Landry. DT can do more with less.

Now to answer a slightly different question than you are posing I think Demaryius is more likely to be overdrafted and Landry underdrafted come draft time.

Right now their ADP's are very similar. Thomas's ADP is 48th which is the 22nd wide receiver off the board. Landry's ADP is 55th which is the 23rd wide receiver off the board.

I gave my take on that up thread. Basically, Landry is getting a post-FA bump right now.
