Another double digit 2nd half lead blown last night. WVU certainly faced a FT disparity... 35 to 2, but IMO, this game was lost because Huggs chose to eat clock for the last 9 min of the game.

Huggs essentially put the game in the hands of JC, and he lost a 10 point lead in the last 8 min of the game.

JC cannot beat anyone off the dribble. JC cannot finish at the rim. JC is not an elite passer. But, Huggs put JC in position to do all the things he isn't good at doing.

Huggs lost this game. Not the referees...

WVU was enjoying a 10 point lead despite the FT disparity...

Certainly didn’t help... but, WVU was winning by 10 when Huggs decided to take the air out of the ball. When you don’t run offense... you ain’t gonna get fouled...

Yeah that was pretty ridiculous "strategy" on the part of huggins. Dribbling down the shot clock and hucking up awful shots and he acts all indignant about free throw disparity. Huggins is a coach with a good track record, but at this point, I'm not sure I ever see him taking a team all the way. And thats not just as coach of WVU, dude could be coaching UCLA or Kentucky and I'd still feel that way about him

Sorry I missed the game.

You can watch a replay on the ESPN App. If you want to enjoy 31 min of good basketball, give it a go.

If you don’t want to have the wind knocked out of you, stop watching when the clock hits 9 min left in the game. It’s nothing more than a recurring nightmare. You’ve seen that movie before...

I missed the first half and listened to most of the 2nd on Sirius. I got home and turned on the TV just as Sags flopped giving Azubuike practically a layup. Not sure why a set play can’t be run without an unbalanced 3 or a drive to the hoop with the entire defense ready to block the shot, but I find it interesting.

I appreciate the offer to watch the game, but it appeared to be the same ending.

Missed the game and was glad about it. Checked the score a few times. Looked good and then ... WTF not again.

This team has developed a true identity. Build a big lead and blow it. From the highlights, it looks like we did not guard the corner from the 3 point shot...again.

With 10 minutes to go I bet Self told his team we have then just where we want them. 6 of 8 losses we have blown double digit second half leads.

From what I saw, when we got the ball inside to Konate, he'd get both arms slapped away from him with no foul call. So you can't go inside. BTW, this is no surprise, the ref was the great, mountaineer hater, John Higgins.

Watching Carter play point guard is nauseating...he is just not as good as he thinks he is...He is an exceptional defender...but what he is should be doing on the offensive side the ball is well below average..

Carter is hot and cold. I really think he is on the floor too many minutes. Too many late game mistakes.

Up 28on Baylor can we hold it?

I guess a 28 point lead is safe with us. I was worried.
