Reminders

Clock is 6 hours for first 3 rounds- Runs from 8 AM-10 PM CT
Clock is 5 hours for rd 4-6
Clock is 4 hours for rd 7

Can text or send private message with proxy if needed. Will also try to text people when on the clock.

Limit of two trades per team. You can make a 3rd trade if you reach the deal before you're on the clock. After that you have maxed out your trades. (Don't want people holding up the draft everytime they're on the clock trying to make a trade, been there done that in the past)

If you miss a pick your time limit goes down an hour the rest of the draft. If you miss two good chance I replace you.

Sorry, I am not a patient person. :) Play by the rules! Check in. Don't miss your pick, don't hold up the clock seeking a trade for countless hours.

Other then that, this is easy!

No player trades or future pick trades. Only current picks. If a pick is trade during the middle of the draft in real life it happens in this one unless the pick is already past.

Please post official trades in official trade thread otherwise they will not be valid as I may miss them with all the chatter in here.

Please try to do most trade discussion in private. Use this to get the ball rolling and then leave us alone. ;)

Have fun!

IMO Denver would have gone Baker here but also IMO Barkley won't be here in real draft. I happen to not be real high on low on the guy. Just like some value better here. If the Browns had taken Barkley ahead of Chubb I'd probably have taken Chubb. Liked another guy here, but would have liked to move down a spot or two and get him, but don't want to hold things up.

Miami isn’t a team that I’d expect to go QB, but with Tannehill’s knee issues. . . it makes sense. Any team that gets a chance to get a starting caliber QB outside the top 10 should usually pull that trigger.

If Baker is there I would think it would be tough for them to pass on him. I know they absolutely love Baker and at one point were looking to trade up. They figured out the cost was too much so backed off that and changed up Tannehil's contract instead. So if they could get him without having to trade up that would be a huge deal for them. Personally I can't see Mayfield making it past the Broncos in the actual draft.

Agreed. The players that went before me were also a factor but Baker Mayfield is probably my 2nd favorite QB in the class.

Shoot. Was helping my wife with some paperwork, otherwise I might have hit you up on that before you picked. Pretty sure Washington is going to snag his guy.

Yeah... I didn't realize we had gotten so far so quickly. I was PMing Cleveland about a trade up, then went to check the draft to see that we had started and I was on the clock at 12. I didn't want to hold things up, but I am at work and didn't have a sec to really look at it, so I figured I would see if there was someone itching to move up. I had to go BPA and even that was a pretty tough choice between 3 or 4 guys.

Derwin James was the guy he would’ve traded up for. Got a bad feeling when Miami took a QB. Figured Buffalo might go with Mayfield if he slipped one more spot and leave the Packers with a 50/50 shot at James, with a guy rated right behind him as a fallback. Not feeling 50/50 on getting our fallback right about now.

With Derwin being my favorite player (and J Wash) in the draft I really would like to see him go to Buffalo oppose to some other teams that make sense for him.

@Ellis269 Is it time for Little Ellis to get his own SportsHoopla name now? I vote "Little Ellis", or is he still too young? Isn't he 8 now?

Derwin James seems like one of the 'Aaron Donald' players in the draft where everyone knows he is one of the best players in the draft but he still falls too far because of various fits and defensive needs.

Realistically, James should go top 10.

Ive had that same instinct about James that I had about Ed Reed in the first game I saw them as FR on the college football field.

Hope he falls to #13 but anything is possible in draft. Jonathan Allen from Bama last year was projected a top 3 pick and fell to Redskins at #17 so you never know.
