Players I think will be available in round three if we don't trade back into round two. Hopefully, we grab two of the following:

FS - Swearinger, Rambo

SS - S. Thomas, S. Williams

RB - L. Bell

DT - B. Logan, M. Hughes

OT - B. Williams

WR - D. Rogers

We'll see if Da'Rick Rogers and Shamarko Thomas make to the 3rd. Rambo should be there. Brennan Williams should be there. They at least get 1 safety today I assume.

Still boggles my mind how teams let guys falls like Jarvis Jones and the Steelers get guys like this and they turn into all pros.

I don't think Fisher trades back unless he feels that Swearinger is going to go away. He is the guys we want and he might make it to #71. Rambo will also work. Williams and Thomas can be taken in either the 3rd or 4th. I look for Fisher and Snead to go both safeties in the 3rd if possible. I think Bell is also in play here somewhere. It will be interesting to see who comes off the board in the 38 picks before the Rams draft again. I am also wondering now is Mikell close to signing. I know if I was Snead, I would be on the phone today to figure that out and where they need to go today. especially.

I think there is a really good chance Swearinger and Cyrpien are gone in the next 10 picks. I think we are targeting Shamarko Thomas and/or Bacarri Rambo. Here are a list of players we have met with that are, imo, in the 3rd round range:

Sanders Commings DB Georgia
Aaron Dobson WR Marshall
Andre Ellington RB Clemson
Mike Gillislee RB Florida
Marcus Lattimore RB South Carolina
Bacarri Rambo DB Georgia
Shamarko Thomas DB Syracuse
Brandon Williams DL Missouri Southern
Terrance Williams WR Baylor

Don't want Cyprienn (not that fast 4.6 40) and not a huge fan of Swearinger (but I would take him if Fisher likes him in the 3rd). :hellno:

If we get Sharmarko and Rambo I will be delighted. I can already see the signs at the Dome for: "THE SHAMARKO AND RAMBO SHOW"

And WOW would some opposing WR's be getting Lit up!

Depends on who is there again.. I'm interested in who will be avaiable at #46. Alshon Jeffrey was there at #45 pick last year and we traded it to the Bears. :lame:

I can see us going safety, then WR/O-line or even another safety?

Marshall Faulk's View:
"Going into this offseason the Rams had four needs," Faulk said. "They've met three of those needs. They signed a left tackle in Jake Long. They got receivers in Jared Cook and a real playmaker in Tavon Austin. They also got themselves a playmaker (Ogletree) at outside linebacker. Now they need to fill that fourth need, a safety. Les Snead did a terrific job. Moving up for Austin and losing picks, but then trading down and gaining picks. And they're still in position to fill their other needs."
Faulk may have left out a fifth need: running back. Maybe he plans to come out of retirement and help out? (Kidding.) But other than that, he's spot on.

See even Marshall believes in our RBs.

The latest is that we won't be trading back into the second round. Snead loves the players that are going to be there in the third round. The guys going in the second round - the remaining QB's, DE's, DT's, CB's, WR's, TE's, and RB's - he has no interest in.

I'm lovin' the SHAMARKO and RAMBO show!

Still would like to get RB Bell in the third or Lattimore in the fourth.

Snead is building a track record of targeting guys that we've seen in workouts so thats why I put the list up. Lattimore would certainly be a polarizing and intriguing pick. I'd be all for the Shamarko and Rambo show, too

Laveon Bell at RB would be a great p/u if he is there in the fourth. I think Clayton is right. Swearinger will be gone in the second. But I believe like the consensus here is that Snead is going after Shamarko and Rambo in the third. And I do not think they will trade back into the 2nd either.

Maaaawshall passed the torch to SJAX. And I believe SJAX showed those freshman (last year) how to get it done. I think one of them comes out smokin and the other 2 are not far behind. Pead looked better at the end last year.

We really need Pead and Quick to live up to the 2nd round picks that they are.

Lavon Bell doesn't make it to the 3rd and IF he does, he's gone before we pick at 72 or whatever. :gaah:

I'm not convinced about Eddie Lacy will be the #1 RB selected. He isn't a guy you're going to want if you dont have a good oline because while he is a monster past the LOS, he's a tad bit slow behind it.

Here is a list of some pretty good O-lineman left for day two that we could easily pick-up between rounds 3-7 since we have 7 selections remaining. Some of these guys are very good. Most are guards and tackles except for Barrett Jones who can play all positions along the O-line.

Garrett Gilkey
Larry Warford
Terron Armstead
Barrett Jones
Alvin Bailey
Brian Winters
Hugh Thornton
Menelik Watson
Brennan Williams
Chris Faulk
Xavier Nixon
Rickey Wagner
Alex Hurst
Luke MArquardt
LaAdrian Waddle
Joron Nullis

I wouldn't have picked Jarvis Jones. I think he'd be a bad fit in a 4-3 system. We need outside containment with the QBs we'll face.
