Wow....I know I'm a year early but this guy starts in 2019. And in practice, he's going to blister the 1st team all through the 2018 season. This is a great pickup for Babers offense.

Former Michigan State starting WR Trishton Jackson announces he will transfer to Syracuse

Jackson is listed as a sophomore on Michigan State's roster, meaning he will have to sit out a season but then would have two years of eligibility at Syracuse.

At 6-foot-1 and 179 pounds, Jackson played for Michigan State as a true freshman and sophomore, and even opened this year as a starter for the Spartans. He started the first four games and played in 12 of 13. He finished the year with 12 catches for 143 yards.

Jackson eventually lost the starting job to true freshman Cody White. Michigan State's entire wide receiving group is eligible to return next year, creating a fierce competition for playing time in 2018.

According to Michigan State's athletic department website, Jackson led all receivers with eight catches for 168 yards in the school's spring game. He was ranked among the country's 250 best prospects by both Scout and 247 Sports when he came out of high school as part of the Class of 2016.

Another high profile recruit transferring into the Babers program.

Former 4-star RB Abdul Adams transfers to Syracuse football from Oklahoma

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Running back Abdul Adams has transferred to Syracuse football from Oklahoma, SU Athletics announced on Monday.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Adams rushed for 825 yards and a touchdown on 112 carries as a Sooner. He also caught eight passes for 103 yards and a score.

Before that, Adams starred for Hillside (Durham, N.C.) High School as a senior and finished his recruitment rated four stars and the No. 15 running back in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports.com's composite rankings. He was offered by Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame and Miami, among others, in addition to OU.
