I went to one game there. It was a twin bill with the Cubs in 1967. Reds had Mel Queen, and Gary Nolan pitching. I was 16 and my parents were not with me. I realized I could buy beer and no one would ask for an ID. Back then it was still affordable at the games. I missed most of 2 really good games. and have regretted it ever sense. I missed a memory that can't be replaced.

I was trying to figure out when that was taken. From what I can see of the few cars in the photo. I'm guessing early to mid 50's.

I'd date the photo around 1962. The brick walls were painted white in 1961 and the path for I-75 was cleared prior to Opening Day 1962. All the buildings along Western Avenue have been torn down in this photo.

I wasn't sure when the interstate was built. I thought it was I-71
