This is bad news for the Brew Crew and Corey Hart too who is in the final year of his contract. This will no doubt cost him major coin. Since the surgery is for an injury from last year, why is he just now undergoing surgery?

Hart won't need his sunglasses at night this year, as it was just reported that he will be shut down for the entire year. The odd irony of this is that it is NOT the knee that put him out before the season started that has him down, but the OTHER KNEE.

I feel bad for him, just like I feel bad for his namesake, and his permanent 1 hit wonder status......

Time to blow this team up.

Trade: Yovani Gallardo, Kyle Lohse, Jonathan Lucroy, and Aramis Ramirez.

Pitching staff is young and the problem with this team looking good in one start then crap for the next two or three. But let them get the lumps through the season or see what young talent we can get for the future from trading Gallardo and Lohse.

That leaves Wily Peralta, Marco Estrada, and bringing back Alfredo Figaro for the rest of 2013 and maybe Johnny Hellweg.

If Carlos Gomez is not having a fluke season with improvements in Logan Schafer might having Hart done not a factor in the outfield in 2014 with Ryan Braun (Who we can't trade because of PEDS issues) and Norichika Aoki. Plus we found a SS in Jean Segura.

So the best plan is take the lumps this year because this is a young team that needs a new direction with pitching. Trading the above might free up some money to grab a ace in the FA market that we had with C.C and Grienke to help out the future young pitching staff mention above.
