QB's A, they all scored. A+ if Mallett looked better
O-line B- need to run block better
Receivers B+ Can't get passes bouncing off Lafell off my mind. McCuller catching 3 passes is WOW!
RB's B- Great receiving, blocking, but inconsistent on running with the ball
D-line A We can do better and get an A+
Linebackers B+ Inconsistency on coverage
Secondary A Inconsistency caused by shuffling players around, Dennard looking lost and needs to play
Special teams Game ball Great punting and kickoff coverage Freakin' 60 yard fieldgoal!!!! and what a hit!!!

which is better than most teams I saw play this weekend. For the 3rd preseason game aka "the dress rehearsal" some teams are in a world of hurt.

GO PATS..LOOKING GOOD.

but LaFell needs to stop having balls clank off his hands.

McCuller - I feel so much better now. I thought we would miss LeGarret Blount, but now I see the big-guy job is in good hands.

Garoppolo - Now that's the kind of performance I want to see from a backup QB.

The Kids - A surplus of riches. Some teams are going to pick up some damn good WR castoffs who will develop into starters in another year or two.

Yellow Flags - Still too many. We will really hate them when the network announcers are promoting Reality TV shows instead of showing replays during the delays.

Pretty fair assessment Southie.

On deep throws it looks to me like Mallet's just heaving it up into the air like a sandlot player while Brady and Garappolo actually throw it toward their intended target.

Is that just my Mallet bias or has anyone else had a similar observation?
