Our youngest son will be at Tuesday's game. All my life I was a Yankee hater but I actually enjoy watching their young guys. It seems a few years ago people were saying they do not have anything down on their farm.

Our youngest son will be at Tuesday's game. All my life I was a Yankee hater but I actually enjoy watching their young guys. It seems a few years ago people were saying they do not have anything down on their farm.

I’ve been a ranger fan since I was 6 or 7 years old.

I’ve had a goal to see every American League team in person since I was about 20 years old.

I usually go to a few games a year.

The only teams left on my list are

Yankees - I usually avoid these games because they’re more expensive and over run with rowdy New Yorkers. I’m thinking I picked a good year to go tho. I guess with it being dollar hot dog night it could still be packed, but I doubt it will be a sell out.

Twins- an extremely boring franchise who hardly ever makes headlines or does anything interesting. They will probably be the last AL team I see in person.

Chicago White Sox- out of division teams only visit once a year now and the last few years it wasn’t convenient for me to go see them. They will be my priority team next year tho probably.

Norm Hitzges just went through the scenarios re: trading Beltre, and he, like me, doesn't see much, if any landing spots for him, regardless of price.

NY is getting our best in Colon, Hamels and Fister. Let's see how they do. Our offense is another whole issue altogether.

You and Norm are right on. When ya don't know if a man can play from day to day he can't be worth much even if he is our beloved AB.

Yeah, it's a tough position to be in, but JD and company have stood pat too long on this one. Now, even if he recovers and is playing well say in another month, teams are going to be reluctant. Plus, Norm pointed out there are several better options than AB with other teams, i.e. Donaldson with Toronto, who'll be a FA after this year, so they want to move him. Norm mentioned 2/3 more too.

Well, we've got a broken down 3rd baseman who is damn near untradable now. AB has played in 123 games outta of our last 209. And probably another 30 of the games he played in he was hampered due to lingering issues.

I love having him on the team and all. He's a true warrior leader. But he can't help us and we should be in full rebuild mold now IMO.

Personally I hope the Rangers find someway to trade AB to a playoff level team even if we take a low level return to do it. AB has done so much for us and we have failed to get him a WS win in return. One of the contenders would be overjoyed to get what he gives. Let him go JD
