Nice! Getting a WW2 hero to be the GM. I like this mov...

Oh excuse me, it’s George Paton. Apparently he’s been with the Vikings FO for a while. So the Broncos, a team that has struggled to find a franchise QB, decided it was a good idea to hire someone from the organization that thought it was brilliant to give big money to Kirk Cousins.

Well no need to worry anyone. Denver won’t be relevant for another few years.

Too bad he was assassinated in Germany. He wanted to drive a tank up Stalin's ass and scared the shit out everyone.

The one going to the Broncos sounds like a good hire.

Broncos hired George Paton as general manager.

Paton gets a six-year deal to replace John Elway, who was moved to president of football operations this offseason. The Broncos are the first team to lure Paton from Minnesota, where he's been one of the top personnel men the last 14 seasons. Paton had six playoff appearances and made two NFC Championship games during that span. He also played a role in drafting players like Dalvin Cook, Harrison Smith, and Anthony Barr. Paton will be tasked with finding a franchise quarterback in Denver after Drew Lock took a step back in his second season.
