If Dez was willing to sign a one year "prove it" deal, in the same vein as Terrell Pryor (but not for $8 million - that's ridiculous), then I don't see why some of you WOULDN'T want the redskins to sign him.

Not for nothing, but if the goal is to make the redskins better, than either you think Brian Quick is a better wr than Dez Bryant, in which case you are smoking crack, or you just don't want the redskins to get better.

Doctson, Richardson, Crowder, Mo Harris, Quick

OR

Docston, Richardson, Crowder, Bryant, Mo Harris.

No brainer.

As for the DT who nobody has signed - Hankins - he clearly has priced himself out of a contract. Bennie Logan was signed already, so whether or not the redskins SHOULD use the money to sign Hankins is irrelevant.

Sometimes there are moves that would look great on the Xbox, but in reality they are just asking for trouble.

Dez to DC is one of those.

Dez aint the WR he was 3 years ago but in the red zone he's better than anything we got. The fade just might work in Washington with two star players from other teams doing it...lol. Wouldn't hate the signing. One year deal with incentives. Load up on both lines in the draft with a RB taken late.

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant recently followed a number of Houston Texans players, including DeAndre Hopkins and J.J. Watt, on Instagram, according to Bobby Belt and RJ Ochoa of SB Nation:

Dez is a cancer and a old cancer at that. Plus he hasn’t been a great receiver for sometime now. Yes this used to be where Snyder would sign someone like him to a 10yr contract for $130mill but it’s a different team. Let Dez corrupt the Eagles Super Bowl chemistry.

Why is he a cancer?

Why is 8 million ridiculous? Watkins went for $16 mil per. Richardson came here for $8 mil per. Pryors prove it deal was $6 mil. Considering all that 8 mil for Dez seems pretty reasonable.

I do agree I'd rather have hankins but I have no idea how reasonable that is.

For arguments sake, if you bring in Dez, you are either putting Doctson or Richardson on the bench. So if you say move Richardson to the slot, now Crowder isn't even on the field all that much. Maybe you give up on a 1st round pick in Doctson after one year?

You are kidding yourself if you think Dez.is gonna come here to come off the bench or be some 4th wr/3rd and short specialist.

Now comes his touches. Minus the WRs I just named, but how many balls does Reed and Thompson catch. On top of that Guice or Michel.

Dez is no scrub, he will go somewhere and contribute. I just think it would be a bad fit, and bad timing on our part.

Why is he a cancer?

He argues with everything including the water boy. I just don’t see him being a positive influence in the locker room or on the field. I agree $8mill is a bargain.

Tom Brady doesn’t do it every play and he wins. Dez slowly has declined over the years while Brady hasn’t. If Dez was his good then why did Cowboys cut him?

I don't think it's a move we need to make but I don't think its horrible either. Reed is practically a lock to miss some time. Doctson is a complete question mark. Crowders locked into the slot, but Richardson and doctson could lose playing time to dez but honestly... who cares. Either they aren't good enough to take playingtime from dez in which case - good thing we brought in dez. Or they are good enough to take playing time from him in which case - awesome they're legit WRs. It's not like we have some loaded room of WRs where we couldn't afford to for Dez in. We have a good slot receiver and essentially 2question marks.

Dez doesn't do it every play either.

Bradys winning has nothing to do with this. Brady wins because he's the goat and on a great team. Dez has been on winning teams too.

The talent is irrelevant - saying he's a cancer is unfounded. Just because he's passionate (like brady), doesn't mean he's a cancer.

Dallas deciding to move on without even trying to work out something when they have a WR room that consists of nobody and a bunch of who we gots beyond Dez, tells me he is a cancer. Dallas basically made the choice to let Dez continue to do what he does at the risk of the team, or let him walk.

They chose to let him walk.

From what I hear it's sounding like the problem lies a lot more with the organization and dak than it does with dez.

I rather have Dak and how the Cowboys run their organization then Dez and how we run things (into the ground)
