And I hope he uses it in real games as well. Could make things very interesting for hitters, to go from a 90 mph heater to a 65-75 mph floater.

As I always, his failure is third on my list behind only Pujols and Hamilton.

I went from hating his guts to loving the guy, hopefully Blue Beard has found a new weapon.

It'll never happen. Batters would lay off that pitch and it would be a ball 90% of the time... If he could gain some control, he might be able to get some strikes looking, but most batters would just step out as soon as they saw it coming (which would be as soon as he went into the wind-up).

But it is fun to watch during spring training....

IF they get a hold of it the batters reaction would be this though:

Batters would just hold up and take a ball.

That is awesome. In elementary school, I was on the opposite end... The other team could not throw a strike. We were up by a lot and our coach said just swing at everything... Unfortunately, I didn't understand the "gift" swing, and since I could not reach any of the pitches, I didn't swing... I was actually upset that I was called out on three straight pitches....
