If this BGN report can be believed fully it looks like Bradhams for sure leaving in free agency might not be so.

Report: Eagles sign Nigel Bradham to five-year contract

This was interesting to catch this morning as I considered him gone. Will be interesting to see the details on such a deal keeping him here. Until then...sounds like LB is more solid than we thought it would be.

That's big. I read that Lane Johnson and Brandon Brooks restructured their deals, so that might be how this is possible. Whatever the case, big move for us. This was the FA I most feared losing because he had a big impact on our D and we have little depth at his spot.

Howie is killin' it yet again. If he trades a corner and picks up more draft selections, we will really be cooking with gas.

I read on Lane's restructure, but not confirmation on Brooks.

Agreed on the gap of losing Bradham....that had me concerned. Not that this is anywhere near the same organization it was 15 years ago.....but I have a long memory of this org undervaluing the LB position. Even today, with teams playing much more nickel as standard, you still need to have some talent and some depth at LB to be a solid winner.

That's a really good keep for us ... Bradham is our best LB and it would have been a big hole should he have left.

Had to keep him.

LBs are as good as last year at a minimum now. Then we get Hicks back for hopefully more games this time.

So far this championship team is entirely intact heading into real FA today.

Only minus the backup TEs and outside WR.
And they added two veteran DL and a young DB.

Looks like 5/40.
Might also be the same deal for Ngata.

Seems a bit high, but don't have details of whether or not it's backloaded and how much is guaranteed...

ngata is not getting a 5 year contract from anyone to do anything.

Ngata is old, no way he is getting a 5 year deal. It's reportedly a one year contract.

My bad. I was going off an Eskin tweet.... should've known better.

Thanks for escalating my heart rate for a moment with an Eskin tweet LOL.

Ngata at five years and ANY money was freaking me out.

Bradham at 5/40 sounds good....be interested to see how it looks, but expect it to be more backloaded than a usual Howie deal as they is not much room to front load.

Can't trade a corner now. Saints signed Robinson. Sucks - he was our best corner.

Of course we could trade a corner, we just picked one up. Should we trade a corner is the more pertinent question.

I know I've seen this means Kendricks is gone, but I dont necessarily see it unless they get something back for him. Hicks can't be relied on at this point. I don't know of the kid from Denver is ready to step up. Nice to see Nigel back, though. I only want what's best for him.

4.4M of cap space can be better used.
I do agree it’s a question or depth. If we moved Kendrick’s last year we would have had a huge hole at LB when Hicks went down. Hicks is a huge question mark.

Still....I think they look to have this second year kid and the Nelson (and maybe a draft pick mixed in) and move on from Kendrick’s at this point.

Werley isn't what Robinson was for us.

Worley.

And at this time last year Robinson wasn’t what Robinson was for us.
Next man up....

I feel better having Bradham back than Robinson, although it would have nice to have both back. That's the nature of this business. I will be curious to see what happens to Kendricks at this point? I think his value went up f to be honest. Somebody will make a deal for him if Howie is indeed shopping him.
