Yes indeed. Probably the best game of the weekend. The football gods keep throwing the Panthers and Seahawks together. Hell, we even play next season. Wilson and Newton are shaping up to be the standard bearers of the NFL going forward.

Not going to make a projection because Mojo can be a mutherfukker. Looking forward to what should be an epic battle

I agree. My earlier post intended to shame the lack of communication regarding our game on your board. Your team needs more people like the few that posted here to show their interest.

Upside: JStew, that was a great decision not playing him the last couple of games, so he'd have fresh legs for the playoffs. The whole team played with a lot of energy the first half -
Got pressure on Russ, made him make some mistakes. The DT's played great all game, but we're not getting enough from the DE's. Cam was the distributor today, got the ball out to a lot of different guys. Olsen made some key catches on 3rd down.

Downside:
Man, Shula and McDermott need to attend a "pedal to the metal" seminar in off-season. I especially didn't like the last offensive call, when a first down would have sealed it. We didn't get near as much pressure on Wilson in the 2nd half (he did a good job of stepping up through the rush and running a couple of times). Sometimes our db's opposite Norman can't cover anyone. There were some mysterious situations where their TE was wide open, no one within 20 yards (this happened to them with Olsen as well). Jared Allen has a fractured foot.

Whatevs, great to beat the 'Hawks twice, get to the NFCCG. Just gotta play 4 quarters next week.

I agree with you spur. That was the BEST half of Panther football I've ever witnessed against a team with the prowess of Seattle. It's scary how good they can be like they were today. But that won't get it done against the Cards, or Patriots, or even Denver. It was way too close than it should have been given the superb 1st half.

This has happened too much this year. Rivera said he was disappointed in the aggression of the Panthers in the second half in his presser. I would have thought he could have done something about that during the game

I know right? It was like Rivera got the word from Gettleman and/or Richardson to call the dogs off after the first half. And Cam was pissed that they quit trying to score and be content to just run clock.
