This is were devils fans miss Tom Guilatti.He was always on top of everything. Even broke the Kovalchuk contract first.His replacement sucks. I agree I could see Shero going Nico he likes the speed
As far as team systems.They may both fit better that way. The division is about to get very competitive imo
I have noticed that a lot of us on the Flyers boards have switched over to wanting Patrick now. Doing some research and we believe Patrick can come right in and play right away.

I did some reading. Still looks like the Devils could go either way. But I from what I've read. Expect Patrick's physical to play a role in their decision. Another aspect that could possibly factor in. Nico was on loan to the CHL by his Swiss team. So who ever selects him has the option to play him at the NHL or AHL level. Which allows movement. Patrick doesn't have that option. He can only play NHL or CHL.Otherwise they are high on both players. Between the different styles . And the gap between the two being so tight.I don't think we know until draft day.
I knew that Nico could play in the AHL and Patrick no, but I still think the Devs are going to take Nico. Just a gut feeling. It's a sexier pick imo.
I have the same gut feeling. But every time you think it's Nico. You read something that makes the pick feel uncertain. Like the Devils scouts praising Pateicks blood lines. And the possibility of the Devils not wanting to miss on another Swiss player like brunner
