Thats not good

It's sad but true..... He made a 47 yarder to win week 1 and he's our only scoring option for the offense. Aside from him and AJ, I can't think of anyone that is even playing up to potential.

Cedric with the whif block.

When will they learn that this team cannot block well, and lining up extra OL who can't block won't magically get them a yard or 2 in short yardage.

Outside of one play, this game has been completely one-sided. But I think the game illustrates some of the issues that are going to be problems all year. It's been 4 games..... At some point, this is just who we are. Eifert's return will help, but he's not a miracle worker. The team really needs to improve over this mini-bye.

I'd like to point out, on this INT Chris Lewis-Harris was in Zone Coverage...not having to cover anyone 1-1....smart move.

Eiftert will help in the redzone because of his matchup, but you still need creative plays to create space.

Defense has been pretty good through most of the games, save a few in the Denver game.

This OL simply won't block well most of the year, and frankly...they're not very smart, either. Zeitler has multiple false starts, Fischer has one, Cedric has several whif blocks. It's no wonder Hill can't run the ball, outside of his own issues.

Hill will be re-energized when he finally signs with New England.

Glad we got the W. But the Bengals still aren't very good.

The coaching, scheme, and playcalling all have to improve substantially. We were lucky to have played the Dolphins last night. Almost any other team would've capitalized on the ineptitude of the offense. Or exposed our terrible defense.

I will give the defensive line credit. They stepped it up last night. Granted, Miami's offensive line may be worse than ours...

Defense did a good job. I think AJ had more yards by himself than the entire Dolphin's team for most of the game.

Offensively...it's a mess and it starts with the OL and play-calling. This team simply cannot run power packages to run in short yardage situations. They've got to be way more creative to gain those yards, and excel in the red-zone. If they keep bringing in guys who can't block, just to run a power set, they are going to continue to fail in those short yardage situations.

Ken has got to get out of the "book" and think outside the box. Just because 90% of the other teams run power packages for short yard situations does not mean that this team should. The Bengals are not built for those kinds of plays, and it is up to him to figure out how to get creative and get those yards.
