Since entering the NFL in 2013, C.J. Anderson’s 4.40 ypc ranks fifth and his 1.97 yac sixth among 28 backs with 600-plus carries.

The argument around here would be CJ had "more pieces" around him to make him successful. That kind of success would never happen here in DC. No thanks anyway on CJ. We have a draft to tend too.

Id love to take a flier on him. He should be very cheap and as you said hes been productive. Take him and he immediately becomes the best back on the team (excluding Thompsons spot work and receiving work). Plus he isnt good enough or so big a commitment that he would keep us from taking a RB at any point in the draft. Hed just remove the pressure from that pick having to perform. Or forcing us to reach for a RB.

I'd definitely sign him but wouldnt get into a bidding war for him.

He reminds me of Alfred Morris with better hands.

Also side note, there are a lot of indications that Jordan Howard will be made available. I doubt the Bears outright release him but it looks like he may be moved on draft day.

Alfred Morris eh. That seems like an odd comparison. Both, Anderson and Howard sound far more enticing than any RB we presently have. I'd kick the tires on either one or both if possible.
