Hopefully St. John can get Green this time. He has struggled with him the last few times.

St John might only be down 4-2 (possibly 4-3 after review), but Green has been in total control. Score is much closer than the match.

*call stands, 4-2

I would be surprised if Moore even comes close. Taylor is a stud.

David Taylor can do stuff that you would almost think will not work. He is dominating this match. Hopefully Moore can keep from being pinned or tech falled.

I would be glad for Green winning the B1G tourney, but not over DSJ.

I would also be shocked if Taylor does not get the Dan Hodge Trophy this year.

I think this finals match will determine who wins 1st place as a team. I don't expect Lofthouse to be Ed Ruth, but then again, I didn't think Ed Ruth was going to lose this season nor did I think Lofthouse was going to beat Steinhaus.

I will take it, as I said after the Minny defeat I didn't think we would do this well, nice to see us land where we did, we were the only team to give PSU any kind of run there, look at how far back the Gophers ended up, this was a two horse race. Great job Hawkeyes

Taylor is good...no doubt about it. However, when he's on top, the ref doesn't make him wrestle///Taylor doesn't improve his position. Taylor grabbed...held...and stalled his way to many wins!!!

Yeah, I would say Iowa did pretty good. Only 2 did not finish equal or better than his seed.
Including Ramos since he could not do better than his seed, 5 of them finished better than their seed.
And given that Iowa was actually 3rd in the B1G going in, 2nd place finish by that close is great for Iowa. Minnesota had a bad weekend.

125 - Cory Clark was seeded 3rd and finished 4th
133 - Tony Ramos was seeded 1st and finished 1st
141 - Josh Dziewa was seeded 5th and finished 5th
149 - Brody Grothus was seeded 4th and did not place
157 - Derek St. John was seeded 4th and finished 2nd
165 - Nick Moore was seeded 2nd and finished 2nd
174 - Ethen Lofhouse was seeded 3rd and finished 2nd
184 - Mike Evans was seeded 3rd and finished 2nd
197 - Nathan Burak was seeded 5th and finished 5th
HWT - Bobby Tedford was seeded 4th and finished 3rd
