Seemed like after they won,the players just never cared much after that.......
Kris Bryant wins mvp and his numbers just have never been the same......even with the Rockies......
So since the WS year,baseball is just meh to me........just jooe we never have to wait another 100 + years for another ws win..........lol

Yeah, it was a long time between good teams for the Cubs. I over the ‘89 team that lost to the Giants in the post season. Then they knocked the Giants out in the championship year

I remember the 84 team,as we picked up Rick Sutcliffe in a trade and hhe obliged by going 16-1.......
