I have little kids, so that is prefaced to say that they enjoy watching a movie and then rewatching the exact same movie afterwards. So the past 3 days I have gotten to watch Infinity War about 5 times. With that said, the issues I had before still remain, but there are a lot of bad edits that I started noticing. All in all, it is still an entertaining movie though and hopefully the writers and editors do better on the next one.

I will say the one thing Marvel sucks at is editing especially fight scenes. They do a lot of things really well but god damn they seem to have one of the worst editors in history.

You can actually add about 7 or 8 other heroes to the list that probably should've stopped Thanos from winning.

At some point its just a kids movie.

I'd probably put Nebula on the top of the list of ones that started the whole chain of events.

If you want to be technical though Dr. Strange saw about 14 million different outcomes and there was only 1 where they defeated Thanos, Starlord doing what he did is most likely part of that.

The whole plot initially breaks down at Loki.

Imo, Loki probably would've used the Space Stone to teleport away from Thanos and be a hero to his people. Capturing the Space Stone when someone else has it and actually has the power to use it should be basically impossible.

Heimdall also had the ability to teleport anyone anywhere.

The only reason they would've stayed is if they thought they could actually beat Thanos which seems unlikely. I feel like they could've turned Loki into a villain again and that would've made more sense than the redemption angle after it was too late.

With the railroaded writing it just feels like a run-of-the-mill comic. I feel like the movie is getting pretty overrated.

Thanatos means death in (at least classical) Greek...I'd assume that the name Thanos is derived from it.

What do you mean, "so what"???
