Do you get the feeling that Antony Rizzo undersold himself here? This looks to favor the Cubs by backloading the deal. I think if he had had more confidence in himself, he should have waited and done this later. If the Cubs are rebuilding, they didn't they frontload it and make it easier to trade him later if they needed to?
