John Abraham is leaving the team now. Reports say he's been dealing with memory loss for the past year and may just hang it up after his last concussion.

Rucker is hurt and probably won't play.

Well that sucks. His long term health should be his priority. He will be missed. The defense wasn't the same during the first few drives of the 3rd quarter without him. Him being able to set the edge helped quiet those outside runs.

Word is that Acho will start in his place. Personally, I liked what I saw from Kieser in the MNF game. I hope he gets more playing time as well.

I guess this means even more exotic blitzing to get pressure.

All the defensive losses are eventually going to catch up to us. It is scary to see our biggest strength do a near 180 in the offseason.

They resigned Benard with the 5 day roster exception for now. But if Abraham decides to hang it up, they need to bring in some guys for a look.

They need to take a look at Andre Carter & some guys available via trade.

Time for other guys to take advantage of the opportunity. Step up and make it happen. We have guys with skills and Bowles defense is very much scheme oriented. Plug in the other guys and keep it going.
