It certainly wouldn't be the first time a player was not charged in a court of law but still received league suspension. Prior misconduct probably played a role in those cases though and to my knowledge, Gotsis has no previous issues

Yeah not sure how that works, but I feel like in those instances they had video evidence. Could be wrong. but you would think you would surely have to have some kind of evidence.

If that is the case Imma start accusing all the Kansas City Chiefs players of assaulting me. (Whatever it takes to win)

There was video evidence according to them anyway. That was the big issue with the suspension last year. The NFL claimed they had evidence the police did not.

Without evidence the players union would fight that pretty easy though so I have a hard time believing the NFL was lying. The police may have had the same evidence who knows, but not enough to prosecute him. Not sure the details, but I do know the NFL claimed they had evidence to suspend him.

Kind of like the Talib incident, not that Gotsis is actually guilty but for the police they don't have enough to even put a legit case together due to lack of evidence.
