Don't know how we did it, but this was a good win for the offense. Pitching... way to hang in there

Another possible nomination for the committee gif! Romo-Casilla-Affeldt-Lopez

Who was that guy who used to post the strike zone maps as proof the umps were against the Giants? Can you weight those numbers for innings pitched?

Tommy seems to come to mind...I'll try and weight them.

When you weight for games pitched, here are the average ERA+

2012: 98.7
2010: 113.4

again, not close. Basically, this year's SP have been average overall, whereas 2010's starters were 13% above league median, on average.

Timmy really has been a pile of poo this year, and Zeets not much better. Only Wellemeyer and his 11 starts were bad in 2010.

Interesting......I wonder why their respective sOPS+ were identical. Perhaps they stranded a ton of runners in 2010 - either that or this year's bullpen has been comparatively horrible with inherited runners. :bounce:

Seriously disturbed, or best espn troll ever.

Tito: Hey, JA!!

SYM: Gotta shake his hand. He really brought his lunch pail to the boards each day. Clouds are nice on a hot day.

Caz: Over/Under on crazy posts by Tommy per day? Start at 40.

Might be a circumstance where using FIP is appropriate:

2012 Starters: 3.81
2012 Relievers: 3.80

2010 Starters: 3.89
2010 Relievers: 3.41

So FIP thinks the 2012 starters (collectively and for the full year) are about the same as in 2010, while the relievers in 2012 are clearly worse.
