What do you guys think of the fill-in announcer?

I recognize him from other teams. Don't mind him that much, actually a nice change of pace.

I have been busy this weekend, so haven’t heard him too much, but the little I have heard, he is boring af.

Well tbf the games have been pretty boring themselves. Not much for him to get excited about.

Plus Javy isn't exactly a ball of energy

I was busy this morning. Glad I missed this one.

I don't mind giving up 9 runs in a game, if we score 10.

But what is terrible, and continues to be terrible, is the one run a game. And NO FREAKING WALKS! In the last 8 games (including today), the Giants have a total of nine walks. And 17 runs (2+ per game)

No pitching staff can long endure that sort of crappy hitting.

The good news is this team is slightly better than last year. The bad new is that 98 losses is still within reach.

And we have found some really solid young players this season, which is exciting for the future.

Not sure Black is ready for the National League. He had a great 10 innings, but has been a gas can since.
He can throw hard, but can he pitch? Strick improved, so maybe he can too.

Any chance at all the Giants FO makes some fire-sale deals this week?

I just don’t trust they have the cajones to do anything.

They don't have the stones to do much of anything, period. Lot of questions about that FO heading into the offseason.

On a different, more positive note, only about 500 hours to go until the 49ers' regular season opener at Minnesota.

Good to at least see the Giants "explode" for four runs today in that hitters' paradise.
